Minister: Russia needs cheap mortgage support in crisis

MOSCOW, Mar 2 (PRIME) -- Russia needs to subsidize cut-rate mortgage programs in order to fight the crisis, Construction Minister Irek Faizullin said on Wednesday.

"We cannot abstain from supporting low rate mortgage in the framework of anti-crisis measures,” Faizullin said.

“This (the cessation of cut-rate programs) will leave our territories without demand, this means it will stop all construction."
